24th July 2007 Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Small waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Hove for me 4:30 - 6:30pm. Could tell it was breezy, but didnt want to be undergunned, so rigged 5.5m on RWW83. Full power, but a bit over stacked on the downwind wave swoops. Soon clear that smaller kit would be more comfortable. Switched to 5m ezzy on 84ltr trad wave.....just right!! Waves were in the 2 foot range, not really breaking but swell was steepening up here and there if you timed it right. A solid session for me in shorts and sunshine. |
